Our Kinderhouse Curriculum
"Learning to Play, Playing to Learn"
Our vision is to provide a high quality educational program to nurture the development of young children in several areas: social, emotional, intellectual, character and physical.

Kinderhouse seeks to accomplish this through the following standards of practice:
-A child-centered and caring learning environment
-Use of developmentally appropriate materials and activities
-Commitment to students and student learning through an emphasis on small group instruction and timely evaluation
-Collaboration with parents

Curricular emphasis:
-Personal and Social Development: personal well-being, social interactions, community-building, character formation
-Language Arts: oral comunication, reading and writing
-Math: numeration, measurement, geometry, patterning, data management, problem-solving
-Science: exploration & experimentation, use of technology
-Physical Activity: gross & fine motor development
-The Arts: visual arts, music, drama and movement
